I agree with Tim. I often place my player on the dresser and listen through the headphones while preparing for work. I also do the same while working in the kitchen any other quiet place around my home.

I actually disagree.  So if this feature is added please give us an option in
settings to turn this on or off.  I routinely am listening to the media
player in my car, unplug the headphones, put the device in my shirt pocket
and continue listening.
