This is needed if you add new icons. Maybe it needs some arguments as
well (Debian packages usually run it automatically when installed).

That should be enough.  And restart hildon-desktop.

AFAIK, GTK icons are used and GTK is used to discover them.  But I must
say that I'm Fremantle guy, I'm not so sure about Diablo. The sources
are public, though:
