Nope. Won't run and won't be available.
Well, that's a shame for Nokia, 'cause I'm not about to buy a new device unless I can verify that the various deficiencies of the N800 OS have been fixed.
Also, I doubt if it's feasible for open source developers and software porters to keep buying new hardware every year for the privilege of doing unpaid work for Nokia.
Hopefully it will at least be possible to run the new OS under some kind of emulator on a desktop machine.
