fm radio

Helpful tip: The ear bud cable is also the FM antenna. If you try
running the FM radio without it, you will just get static.

All,
I am proberby being stupid but I can't for the life of me get the fm
radio to do anything other than produce static.
I am living in Yorkshire and have tried downloading stations near me but
nothing seems to make any difference.
I am running a recently flashed OS2008 in R&D mode.

Seems to be a fundamental issue as I get the same static for all
stations, not what u would expect if I was actually receiving real
static.
