WiFi Connection Problem - N800 OS2008

I'm still having trouble getting connected here.  and was given the following URL for reference, but I couldn't figure it out. http://lug.cs.uic.edu/wiki/doku.php?id=wifi 

How shall I translate that script on the URL into the setup of Connection config of OS2008 on my N800?

Please help!
