I don't even know if Ubuntu has a stack for Bluetooth mobile connectivity. 
I would check on the support list/newsgroup/message board for answers to 
your question. I know that OS X has similar functionality built in but I 
haved explored the idea on any of the desktop distros I use as I don't use 
them on a notebook.
