Fredric, I had my stereo phones working on OS2007 but with kagu only. Here kagu won't yet install. I'll be on mine as well over the weekend and If I get any kind of success I'll send you info. As near as I can tell the key is getting ESD to work sending sound to a "device" created in the .asoundrc file. Alsa seems to be where most of the docs apply information. Like I said I owe you enough from my past life with Mandrake that I'm hoping I can help you out here. James
