Actually, some special handling is needed:

  1. You have to have the Maemo repository in your repository list
  2. You have to have the repository that contains openssh-installer in
     your repository list

Because (1) and (2) are different repositories, it is not possible to
have a single-click .install file that would install OpenSSH for you.
On the other hand, you no longer need to use red-pill mode, which is a
convenience of sorts.

If you add the maemo repository (click on
http://mg.pov.lt/770/maemo-repository.install to add it), then it will
work.
