Adobe Media Player...

Syncing is part of it (but not just for file trees -- for metadata,
podcast manegement, etc.)... Having a common UI between devices is
another.
 The WinAmp info is good -- I didn't know that. I should try it! :)
 Does anyone on this list use iTunes/iPod? Just curious, because it
is a great example of intuitive, ergonomic, solid design for media
management/playback.

recently-downloaded version of Winamp, Winamp asks if I want to
manage media on it.  I haven't had a chance to play with this, since
only my gaming computer is non-Ubuntu, but could that be what you're
after?
