Alternative Window Managers packages ?

Here are my thoughts:

 1. Under the 'Control Panel' and within 'Navigation', you have Web and
Contacts. That's all. It would be nice if anything we want could be placed
there. For example, my primary applications are my Calendar and Contacts.
If I could just run them from the main screen versus going into the level of
menus I do now that would be great.

2. Under the 'Control Panel' and within 'Navigation', when I select
'Organize favorites', the Delete is always grayed out. Thus, I'm not sure
what function it serves. I would like, for example, to remove, "Teach
Handwriting" but can't. I'm ok with that if the program itself can't be
removed (not really but...) but I would like to remove it from the menu
system (it doesn't show up under 'Applications'). The Delete function
should be made operational or removed.

I actually like the interface.
Regards,

Nick Shaw.

What kind of improvements for WM do you have in mind? Remember that all
ideas are welcome and most of them probably doable depending if it makes
sense (provides additional usability) and is possible performance and
memory-wise.
