Rebooting will cause data loss if I have a document open or a file transfer in
progress or god forbid I'm in the middle of an application upgrade
(especially if it's one that sets off the watchdog).

On a box just sitting there all by itself or doing read only event's (like
playing mp3's and the n800 is a dang expensive per GB mp3 player if that is
all you do.) Then you might not suffer data loss. But if you use the box.
lookout.
