I had installed the 770 latest canola tonight on the n800 and got this
error immediately thereafter... just a warning. I uninstalled canola
after confirming it would not run was able to get running (limping)
after ejecting the card and booting without it. Once I realized that
it would work without the card, I searched it from my laptop and found
a .canola folder hidden which I deleted.

Upon another attempt with the card again, I was still having the
error, so with a second memory card I did a backup and then reflashed
my unit and formatted the first memory card.

I had to actually use the terminal rather than the GUI Flasher for OSX
as it would not run - I'm guessing since the versions were a match. I
ran the flasher2.0 app from the terminal as root and it did its
business with no questions and without issue.

Hope this helps someone else and prevents your own possible
exploration with canola until it's officially ready.
