BTW when I run that, I see New time invalidates preset alarm: disabling although the alarm was already disabled (last time I used was weeks ago). I then set the alarm for tomorrow's morning, just to see what would happen, and ran retutime again. The message did not appear. I think the hardware alarm is set for a date + time, rather than just time, and that retutime disables the alarm if the time you're setting is past the original alarm datetime.
