Hi again! I wanted to thank Alex Crough and Mike Lococo for responding to my request for assistance. >> 2. The desktop clock appears to be three hours off from my Central >> Daylight Time time zone. Alex, this was a common sense fix I wish that I had considered. I hear that OS2006 has been released which causes me to re-ask my earlier question: >>> 1. I use Mac OS X. Is there any way (other than using Virtual PC or >>> buying an Intel-Mac) to load system updates onto the 770 using it >>> instead of Windows? >>> >> >> -- Go to the Maemo website (at http://www.maemo.org) and there is a >> flasher tool for the command line. Mike and Alex, can I use these flasher tools to update to OS2006? I recall the Maemo.org Tools page saying something like the flasher only works for maemo1.1. Is this the same thing, or am I getting confused (maemo1.1 = OS2005, maemo2.0 = OS2006)? I would like to download and install this upgrade, but I do not want to fry the 770 in the process. :-( Thanks again for sharing your expertise! J.
