VOIP stuff is not included in Maemo (the development environment) but
support IS included in the 770 image (and it works, too!).
New features which I have found yet:
- Voice over IP (mic working, but no sound recording app; D'oh!)
- Builtin swap file support (!)
- IM application (Jabber / google talk)
- Contact manager (which, although based on EDS, stores only Names,
IM and Mail adresses - no postal address! YUK!)
- Alarm function (single Alarm only, no schedules)
- rearrangable Menus
- improved Browser
- Web search applet
- apparently the package manager supports some kind of download
repositories now (but none are configured by default)
- screen brightness can be dimmed lower than before!
- connection manager automatically tries to use configured networks
if available ( = less connection searches popping up)
- new input method: thumb keyboard (basically just a very big on-
screen keyboard)
- Icons and GUI design have been changed.
