You are confusing RAM and Flash here... Flash can never serve as process memory, it will always stay "just" storage. > I'm guessing that the kernel and bootloader would have to stay in flash. You could in theory move some parts of the storage from the internal flash to some external flash (like MMC). But this will not help much. The internal Flash is 50% free and using JFFS2 you can store around twice as much data in it (since it uses on the fly compression). The 64MB RAM is the amount of memory you get and can use. Definitely not more and hopefully not less ;) > William Cheers nils faerber - -- kernel concepts Tel: +49-271-771091-12 Dreisbachstr. 24 Fax: +49-271-771091-19 D-57250 Netphen Mob: +49-176-21024535 - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFDx+76JXeIURG1qHgRAgvlAJ0YlcYr9Cm1d8pbEppcWvJkDW7FVwCggikH AXD6ijM/7X38NSbTltBDaWM= =etLt -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
