[maemo-users] cellular type "none" (sprint 6700)

In a typical debian environment, the phone script is handled with
/usr/sbin/chat. It looks like that nokia is using some custom code.
Me too, I need to change the script to turn off the ECHO requirement.
Where is the phone dialer code?

Using sprint/Nextel phone

Subject: [maemo-users] cellular type "none" (sprint 6700)

Hi

I decided to try to use DUN on a sprint 6700. I can pair the phone and
it properly shows "Dial-up networking: yes" in the details screen, but
it doesn't say "CDMA" in the cellular type entry. Apparently this means
none of the dialup network settings entries will show up when going online.

Is there a database somewhere that needs an update or is this phone
misbehaving?

thanks
Brad
