sapwood needs 16bpp depth. Xnest provides depth according to your real 
desktop.

multiple fixes:
1) read mailinglist for all the solutions (go couple of months back)
2) read bugzilla for other solutions ("fixes" for sapwood)
3) run your real desktop at 16bpp
4) use xephyr instead of xnest
5) use vnc instead of xnest
