Hi,

After rebooting now its working.
But I am using EVMS for creating partitions.
so if I am using "pvcreate /dev/evms/hda5" same error is coming
but if I use "pvcreate /dev/hda5" it is working after reboot.

I had doubt whether I can use EVMS volumes for LVM tools.
But it is not working. Is there any way to work on EVMS volumes?

I am creating RAID1 using EVMS and I want to create LVM on that
RAID1.But in EVMS, LVM on RAID1 had some problem. So I thought to use LVM
tools for that situation means LVM on RAID1.

How to proceed in this situation?

Thanks for help
Susmitha
