I also reworked the script so it works the same way as the mkinitrd script, reading the /etc/modules.conf to build a list of modules to include as well as adding an option to specify the filesystems modules which are required in the image. And using losetup to manage the loopback device. I am trying to make my kernel as modularized as possible to limit its size. So, all my filesystems are modules as well as drivers for my SCSI peripherals, I added an option to specify the filesystems modules required in the image. Still need some work. However, if you need a copy I can send it to you. I found it a little bit difficult to maintain, I tried to make better usage of functions. > > -- > > Regards, > Heinz -- The LVM Guy -- > > *** Software bugs are stupid. > Nevertheless it needs not so stupid people to solve them *** > > =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- > > Heinz Mauelshagen Sistina Software Inc. > Senior Consultant/Developer Am Sonnenhang 11 > 56242 Marienrachdorf > Germany > Mauelshagen@Sistina.com +49 2626 141200 > FAX 924446 > =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- > > -- ======================================= Daniel Savard Consultation Informatique Daniel Savard 551, boul.
