Erm...where are you looking?  The patches are autogenerated from the
files in here, http://tech.sistina.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/LVM/kernel/
which are regularly updated.  Have you read the README in the PATCHES
directory?

I'm not sure why you think the CVS hasn't been updated.  It has.
