I'm just wondering why the # of sensors at my ThinkPad T420 lowers from
3 in kernel 3.10 :

sensor /sys/devices/platform/coretemp.0/temp1_input # physical id 0
sensor /sys/devices/platform/coretemp.0/temp2_input # core 0
sensor /sys/devices/platform/coretemp.0/temp3_input # core 1

to just one for 3.11:

/sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/temp1_input

Do I miss a (new ?) kernel config ?

I don't see a reason in the code why this would or even could be the case. There are
no functional changes in the driver between 3.10 and 3.11rc.

Can you be more specific ? Exact kernel versions, output of /proc/cpuinfo ?
Anything related in dmesg ? Do you use upstream kernels ?

Thanks,
