help to know what version of "lm_sensors" is being used. Please provide the output from the "sensors -v" command. Based on my own Fedora Core repositories I suspect FC11 will report "lm_sensors" version 3.1.0-1. The most current "lm_sensors" update for FC12 has "lm_sensors" version 3.1.2-2. You might try a "live" Fedora Core 12 CD and install/update the "live" LM_Senors package to the most current, then repeat "sensors-detect" to see if your laptop sensor hardware is detected. Laptops generally have the worst support for Linux "sensors" packages. It is due to the way laptops are built compared to desktop & server PCs. I have a current HP laptop with Fedora Core 12 x86_64 and many aspects of it, including "sensors", are not supported under Linux.
