Hi,

I got your email address from Jean Delvare. I'm the f71882fg maintainer and
I've been working on adding f8000 support to the f71882fg driver. That work is
now finished.

I've attached the resulting driver (f71882fg.c), and a Makefile for stand alone
compilation drop both in a dir and then from that dir do:
make
rmmod f8000
insmod f71882fg.ko

And then you can run "sensors" with the new driver. Please let me know how this
works. If you're interested you can also try the new pwm support for
configuring how your fan speed is controlled by the f8000. See the also
attached documentation and the sysfs-interface document in the
Documentation/hwmon dir of the kernel sources.

Thanks & Regards,

Hans
