It's a bit odd to try -rc4 when -rc6 is already > there. The problem you are hitting may have been fixed already. Hmmm. I tried the 2.6.18-rc4 because that is the one the patch is against. I will grab the -rc6 and see if that works. The stock Suse kernel that works fine but without support for my chip is 2.6.16.21-0.13-smp. I have not tried the 2.6.17.11 kernel at all.
