I have been looking today at work for a script that would be executed from cron and query lm_sensors looking for preset max values being reached then executing a shutdown script of my choice. So far all I have found are scripts and compiled programs that generate various types of graphs. I will keep looking on the internet and will eventually even attempt to write a custom script, but my problem is that I need to put something in place tomorrow morning until a more permanent solution can be developed.
