I'm guessing most DIMMs don't have serial numbers encoded. But in any case, it looks like you're using a old decode-dimms.pl on a new kernel. What does the beginning of your decode-dimms.pl look like? Is it version 0.9 or newer? If not, try checking out lm-sensors from CVS and run the decode-dimms.pl included with it.
