Hello,

Please note that in most cases you need to compile the .c file. We can help you with it
if you tell us what Linux are you using and kernel you use.

To get the information you can try to type following command:

uname -a

It will tell the kernel version. Depending on that we will help further.
I will be offline during next week but I think others here on the list will help.
