Hello LH Hsu We have a request about support of W83792 chip mounted on Asus K8N-DL serverboard. The chip is hidden behind multiplexer it seems. (as was on other server Asus MB) Please can you try to get some more information on this? We would like to know following: How to switch the SMBus so we are able to access the W83792? More specific questions follows: 1) how is the SMBus multiplexed - some picture or pdf maybe? 2) what GPIO lines needs to be triggered - what bits in register(s) in particular? 3) what I/O port(s) is/are used to control the multiplexer? 4) how to get the base address of the GPIO control block (what PCI config register and what PCI device)?
