64 bit

Hi folks

I am playing with i2c code for a while now, and recently i am trying to run i2c version 2.6.1 (got it through redhat) on my new 64 bit cpu machine. (a cool thing on its own... :)), but when i try to compile it to make the modules, a nasty warning about i2c-proc keeps poping up:.

my question is how does i2c deals with a move from 32 bit to 64 bit machines, especially 2.6.1 version that intrests me, and for what do i need to take notice.
i'll be happy for a short explanation, and will be happier to get URL references for material about this issue. (a code sample will be awesome !)

thanks
Ron Rinjunsky
