I'm busy with another project about Winbond W83637HF Smart IO these days http://www.winbond.com/e-winbondhtm/partner/PDFresult.asp?Pname=886 As you know, besides the Hardware monitor function, Winbond W83637HF also contains the function of Smart Cards. What I need to implement is the Smart Cards function. I'm using MUSCLE project (http://www.linuxnet.com/) and towitoko-2.0.7 Smart Card driver(http://www.geocities.com/cprados/) as my reference now. Generally, the smart card readers connect PC by Serial interface or usb. But W83637HF does NOT use serial nor usb, it is embedded on motherboard(PC client) using LPC interface for communication. So in traditional smart card readers driver such as towitoko, it just has to talk to a UART via a regular serial port interface. but in my driver, I will have to deal with all the Input/Output, control registers, etc. So my question is: Do you know any source code on Linux(or Smart Card drivers) which can be a good reference to me when I implementing my low level function? Is there any bus or chip driver contains such function in lm_sensors?
