unknown eeprom type (65) [ticket #1449]

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've recompiled the lm-sensors and reinstaled it, after i did rmmod
eeprom and then modprobe eeprom, but I made a slight change in my
hardware, i've changed the DDR place, it was at the green bank, and I've
put it now in the purple bank (the closest to the processor), my error
changed to:

root at athlon:/home/fernando# sensors
eeprom-i2c-0-51
Adapter: SMBus nForce2 adapter at 5000
Algorithm: Non-I2C SMBus adapter
Unknown EEPROM type (65)

so, i did cat /proc/sys/dev/sensors/eeprom-i2c-0-51/*

and it returned:

root at athlon:/home/fernando# cat /proc/sys/dev/sensors/eeprom-i2c-0-51/*

if it is a problem i can reopen my case and turn the DDR back to the
green bank...

bye the way, in using Slackware 9.1

thanks.
