Another fine example of why Linux will never be main-stream. Something as
simple as an app to read a temp sensor and holy bejesus. No I am not a Linux
expert or a C-hack, just a pretty knowledgeable guy trying to set up a Linux
server. I have installed many RPMs in the past but after many hours I give
up trying to figure out how to install i2c and lm-sensor.

 

I think last time I installed a h/w monitor app in WinXp took about 35
seconds.

 

oh well. seemed like a nice idea
