Thanks for the mail. I'm working with Corey and with HP on a sensors-IPMI interface. It uses Corey's in-kernel API. It's in CVS and I'll be checking in more soon. I'll look at yours and see what I can use. On the Xeons, on many boards the xeon sensor is on an i2c bus accessible directly by the processor (not behind BMC).
