This monthly e-newsletter, written by the editors of Sensors & Transducers e-Digest, delivers the
product and research news you asked for, and updates you on happenings in the sensor science 
and industry.

I. Sensors Journals

1) Free Sensors Online Journal
Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220, CODEN: SENSC9) is a peer-refereed scientific journal on the science 
and technology of physical/chemical sensors and biosensors, which follows the guidelines of the 
Budapest Open Access Initiative. Published rapidly with free access online monthly and CD-ROM 
yearly.

2) Special free Biosensors issue: Selected Papers for the Sixth World Congress on Biosensors, 
San Diego, CA, USA, 24-26 May, 2000.

II. Training Courses

1) TRAIN-IT?: EU-funded training for IST technology start-ups

TRAIN-IT? offers a 6-day hands-on training course in writing a winning business plan:
? Lectures and individual coaching from international experts and experienced entrepreneurs
? Access to business and financial networks
? Writing sessions at individual, state-of-the-art PC stations
? Presentational training: "elevator pitch" (exercise with video analysis)
? Small course groups: limit of 10 business cases
? Follow-up support until finalisation of the business plan - 9 months guaranteed
