The spambot attacks on #xfs on freenode have gotten pretty bad lately, so I set the channel mode to +r which means you must be registered with nickserv to join the channel. To register your nick, see https://freenode.net/kb/answer/registration It's worth it anyway, that way we'll know you are really you. :D I apologize if this causes trouble for folks. Please reply to me off-list if this is causing you too much pain and I'll remove the mode and see if we can live with the spam.
