There used to be a bug here, but it's fixed now. Just an unsupported performance feature which you should be able to live without, for the time being :). (the bugfix thread is here, it confirms the intention to ignore jumbo frames <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.wireless.general/23383>).
