Hi Lorenzo,

I just tested this with the v5.12.14 kernel and the situation did not change.
First I connect the wpa_supplicant.
# wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -c ./example.conf

Just to double check that both are on the same channel, and the kernel
I was running.

But when I try to connect anything to internal, it won't connect. You
can see that create_ap's output shows nothing authenticating or
pairing.

If I did the reverse, which is run the create_ap first, then
wpa_supplicant, it happens like before. The device connects to the
host, but wpa_supplicant cannot connect.

This will continue forever.

The change between kernel v5.4 and v5.12.14 is that I can't replicate
the kernel panic when I try to run both wpa_supplicant and create_ap
at the same time. What always happens now is the create_ap will always
manage to create the ap but wpa_supplicant will keep trying to connect
forever.
