Yes, reboot = warm boot. The driver is sdhci-tegra. I have it built in as 
I am booting without an initrd. I have tried modprobe -r brcmfmac before 
reboot with no difference. It will take some work to create a ramdisk.

It is your patch [1]. The helper function triggers the while loop. 
However, without the helper function, I do not need the patch.

Helper - patch = return err
No helper - patch = works
Helper + patch = 2m delay
No Helper + patch = works

Now that we've learned that, I suppose this thread can be wrapped up.
I'll start a new thread for the reboot issue in a few days. If you'd
like me to test any new patches, cc me.
