Bypass EEPROM restrictions of Intel cards

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Dear all,

I have an Intel Ultimate 6300 Ultimate-N wifi card and I was trying to do
some wireless tests in the 5GHz band (2.4GHz is too polluted). However, the
EEPROM does not allow ad-hoc mode in the 5GHz band, even though it is
allowed here (Belgium). Is there anyway to circumvent this issue? 'iw reg set
BE' does not help.

Best regards,
Erwin
