What driver are you using in? I tried b43 from wireless-dev this
morning and couldn't get my N800 to see it. I guess it wasn't sending
beacons, but I didn't have time to check that. I'll try again tonight.

Are there any tricks or should this be enough with b43:

iwconfig wlan0 mode master channel 2 essid mac80211
ip link set wlan0 up
