Success with Wimax using Clear

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Last Saturday I successfully installed my wimax under linux.

The laptop is a Dell Latitude E6500.

The card is Intel 6250.

The OS was fedora core 17.

The instructions I followed were from all over the 'Net.

I have to manually run my dhclient -d wmx0

but generally I am ecstatic that I dont have to use Windows.

I purchased a WD 1TB just to run wimax on fedora.

This decision was due to the fact that Ubuntu/Mint dont have packages,

Whereas Fedora does and has for several release cycles.

Anyone else out there needing help I will be glad to assist.
