Make sure you update the realm in /etc/wimax/config.xml to be "clearwire-wmx.net" instead of "welcome.clearwire-wmx.net" though, otherwise you'll keep dropping to the landing page instead of getting internet. sudo yum install wimax should get you the basic tools.
