Intel Wimax-6250 CA

I am trying to use the Intel Wimax6250 usb card for Wimax in 3Ghz on
ubuntu 11.10 i686 on a test network.

Network scanning works, but I cannot associate.
The Wimaxd intel supplicant seems just to ignore the CA configured in
WiMAX_DB/Def.bin. In my testsetup, I used a Motorola pmp320 BTS and
freeradius with its own CA to terminate EAP (TTLS).
It looks that the Intel card expect the authenticator to be explicitely
signed by some wimax-forum CA.
Does anybody know if it is the case ? This makes testing quite uneasy
since it makes you dependent of a real wimax operator for testing.

my setup:

- HW: Intel Centrino Advanced N+ Wimax6250 (USB) - Model: 622ANXHMW
- Firmware: 1.5
- System: Ubuntu 11.10 (kernel 3.0.0-12) i686
- Supplicant: wimaxd 1.5.2 based on wimax-tools 1.5.2 + wpa-supplicant
0.7.3 (patched for libeap)
