I have successfully used wimax under Ubuntu 11.10 by manually building and installing the WiMAX Tools, WiMAX Network Service, and patched libeap.so as described previously on this mailing list. I have not actually tried using Network Manager to control the wimax interface, so I can't really say anything about that. However, as best as I can tell, the above components are not currently available as Ubuntu packages, and therefore wimax will not work straight-out-of-the-box, regardless of what Network Manager does or does not support. -Paul On Sat, Oct 15, 2011 at 09:03:32PM +0300, Oleksiy Stasevych wrote: > Dear friends. > > Has anybody of you was successful to run wimax on new Ubuntu 11.10 > release?
