wimaxd general protection fault

I am seeing the same issue. Could the issue be that we are compiling on
64-bit machines? I am going to try and force a "Legacy" compile and see if I
get a different version of libpthread. I also saw a lot of compile warnings
about pointers being stored in variables that were too small to hold them.
This makes since if the pointers are now 64-bit.
