Nope, I think I misread the code. Mergeable buffers should be fine as
the unmap were during virtnet_receive().

But the code might needs some tweak in the future

in virtnet_receive() we had:

if (!vi->big_packets || vi->mergeable_rx_bufs) {
        virtnet_rq_get_buf
        receive_buf()
} else {
        virtqueue_get_buf()
}

but there's another switch in receive_buf():

if (vi->mergeable_rx_bufs)
else if (vi->big_packets)
else
...

Which is kind of a mess somehow.
