Hi Am 08.01.23 um 22:04 schrieb Dmitry Osipenko:
Replace all drm-shmem locks with a GEM reservation lock. This makes locks consistent with dma-buf locking convention where importers are responsible for holding reservation lock for all operations performed over dma-bufs, preventing deadlock between dma-buf importers and exporters. Suggested-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel@xxxxxxxx> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Osipenko <dmitry.osipenko@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
How much testing has this patch seen?I'm asking because when I tried to fix the locking in this code, I had to review every importer to make sure that it aquired the lock. Has this problem been resolved?
Best regards Thomas
