I see similar variation also with iperf-vsock, but higher absolute
values, I think because of the different hardware or maybe because
you're using nested VMs.
We have some regression (not because of this patch) in the h2g scenario,
it would be interesting to investigate. (I'll try next week)
When I did some performance analysis h2g was slower, because the host
has to split the packet according to the guest buffer (4K), while the
guest can queue the whole buffer, but not as much:

Good job, I left some comments on things to be fixed, but I think we are
well on the way.
Next nice step to have (not in this patch/series) is to move packet
queuing to the core and have all transports use skbuff (if they can).
