With vhost=on:

# cat /sys/class/net/eth0/device/features
0000011000000001111101010001110000000000000000000000000000000000

Without vhost=on:

# cat /sys/class/net/eth0/device/features
0000011000000001111101010001110000000000000000000000000000000000

Instrumenting the code says that indirect=1.
